Pray for baby Kanaan Submitted by: Kenny & Shelly Garner
When Kanaan went for his 9 month well baby visit, his head measured 18.5 inches which was in the 95th percentile. His first visit at 2 weeks was the 50th percentile, then the next couple moved up to in the 60 and 70 percentiles. Since he had made such a jump in his percentile, they wanted us to come back to check his head measurement again. Monday, Dec 28 his head measured 19 inches. He is on the mark developmentally and his other measurements are good. (He is pretty big for his age, has 8 teeth already and seems like he is about to start walking.) The nurse practitioner at Dr. Stacy's office has referred him to Children's in OKC to get a catscan as a precaution to make sure that nothing is wrong since he is not following a normal growth curve. She says that they have sent lots of kids up there and it usually turns out to be nothing. His appointment is at 2 pm on Mon, Jan 4. He will not have to be sedated. Even though it is just as a precaution, Please pray for him and us.

Leon has come through a difficult back surgery and continues to recover at home. Pray for a complete and fast recovery as he needs to be able to return to work as soon as possible. Pray for strength and grace for Amy as she cares for him.
